The 12th factory started production. The large Prismatic NCM Cells production base was officially put into operation.

On the morning of June 12th, the launching ceremony of EVE Power's 12th factory was successfully held in Jingmen, Hubei province. The ceremony was attended by: secretary of the Jingmen Municipal Party Committee Qiyang Wang, deputy secretary of the Jingmen Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Tao Li, and other leaders of relevant units in the district and city; the chairman of EVE Energy Dr. Jincheng Liu, senior vice president of EVE Power Shifeng Wang, executive vice president Hongyan Zhou, vice president Genfei Gong, and other executives of the company, partners and so on. Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Jingmen Gaoxin district and Duodao district Junjie Zhou presided over the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Dr. Jincheng Liu expressed his warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the leaders and guests who came to this site and extended his most sincere greetings to the project team fighting at the front line of the construction. He emphasized that the garden-type 12th factory practices the concept of green development; realizes the co-development of ecological environment and high-quality production; constructs a fully automatic and highly intelligent modern factory and strives to create the best quality Prismatic NCM Cells production base.

Later, the plaque of  "The 12th Factory" was awarded to the vice president of EVE Power Dr. Genfei Gong.

Dr. Genfei Gong received the plaque on behalf of the 12th factory. He said that this award is a trust and a greater responsibility. The 12th factory will uphold the excessive manufacturing concept and an excessive attitude to build a benchmark power battery factory that would contribute to the company's production and operation goals.

On behalf of the Municipal Government, Mayor Tao Li expressed his warm congratulations on the official launching of the 12th factory of EVE Power. 

He mentioned that the successful launching of the 12th factory is not only an important progress of EVE's entry into the international lithium market but also a major achievement in the development of Jingmen's lithium industry. Mayor Tao Li also stressed that hoping EVE would seize the golden period of the current project construction, accelerate the pace of construction of subsequent projects, and make an outstanding contribution to Jingmen's high-quality development and the building of a hundred billion lithium capital in central China.

Soon afterwards, secretary Qiyang Wang, mayor Tao Li, the chairman of EVE Energy Dr. Jincheng Liu, and the guests cut the ribbon together on the podium. Secretary Qiyang Wang announced the official launching of the 12th factory of EVE Power.

After the ceremony, the guests went to visit the production line of the 12th factory together.

EVE Power's Jingmen production base four district, which has a land area of 170,000 square meters, planned to build two Prismatic NCM cell factories: the 11th factory has been completed and put into operation. The 12th factory, with a construction area of 200,000 square meters, contains five fully automatic and highly intelligent production lines and mainly produces INP114E and INP166E Prismatic NCM Cells, which can be used for medium and high-end BEV models in domestic and abroad. The annual production capacity will reach 12GWh after full production.

This factory realizes the integration of digital technology and manufacturing; Scientific Environmental Control to satisfy the strict production and manufacturing requirements of Prismatic NCM Cells; the environment-friendly factory design to reduce energy consumption and pollution generated during the production process. Since the construction has begun, the safety, reliability and other comprehensive performance of the battery have been assessed and won the full recognition of international and domestic first-class car enterprises.

This production is a significant milestone in the company development history. It marks a new step for EVE's world-class factory construction; further enhances the supply and security capacity of high-quality Prismatic NCM Cells; provides more efficient and high-quality services for global customers. In the future, EVE will continue to promote the development of a new energy industry, help achieve the goal of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" and make outstanding contributions to the sustainable development of human beings.
